In 1997, I left my career as an elementary music teacher in Canada and found myself selling motivational speakers in Texas on commission-only sales.
I quickly learned two things: I had a lot to learn about sales, and the materials I was selling weren’t doing the speakers—or me—any favors.
The speaker brands I pitched were cluttered and chaotic, leaving buyers confused and disengaged. So, I started helping speakers clean up their materials, creating clearer, more compelling brands to make them easier to sell. The results were undeniable: I closed more deals, became a top producer, and fell in love with the art of branding.
Fast forward to 2009, when I launched See Agency, applying my obsession with branding to elevate professional speakers.
Within five years, See Agency earned a coveted spot (twice!) on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, proving the power of a focused, intentional approach to branding and speaker strategy.
2020 forced the events industry to reimagine itself.
With live events paused, I channeled my experience into creating Speaker Therapy, providing consulting for speakers eager to reframe their brands and businesses.
This birthed the consulting practice built on decades of taking speakers from 'no-name to hall-of-fame', now known as Bookable Speakers.
